Just figured I’d share some of the shenanigans that were going on this morning.
And then this ….
These two hooligans keep us laughing, that’s for sure. They’re also going to make us both deaf one of these days. 🤣
I realized I haven’t posted anything in a while, so it’s time to share the growing friendship between Ducky and her baby brother. Yeah, she still gets jealous and snarky; but she’s playing with him more than grumbling at him.
Soooo cute. Bogie is growing like a weed! So impressed that Ducky is playing so well with her brother. Too sweet.

I’m truly proud of Ducky. She is becoming more patient with her baby brother, who can be quite the pest at times. She’s still jealous of him at times, but she’s been better about that as well. All in her own time and on her own terms. ❤️🐾💙🐾

Knowing her past behavior toward her sister, it really is heartwarming to see her play nicely. Nothing like a puppy to make everyone smile with joy and pride.

That’s so cute and such a wonderful game of bitey face. It’s nice to see them together like that, good job Ducky and you too Bogie!

They’re good pups, and you’re right: it is nice to see them play like that. 😍

I had similar “adventures” when I fostered the WaWa (. Chihuahua.) for 18 months. Took about half that time before she stopped trying to tear my fingers off. The congreration thought it was funny that I kept turning up to church with bandages on my fingers. Then one day she just suddenly came to me and I lifted her on to my shoulder. We never looked back after that. I think Ducky and the pup will grow together and the concerning times will be less and less. I have to say though, they look well together.

I’m glad they’re happy together now. It usually takes a little time for the older one to warm up to the puppy. At least you didn’t have any ‘disagreements’ between them. I once had a dog that bit our new puppy right below the eye shortly after we got him! (Wasn’t too well-adjusted of a dog…he came that way & we never were able to get him to be completely trusted – of course, we were young & stupid then, too! Didn’t know how to do it right).
Hope you & your hubby are doing well, too.

Oh, they have their “disagreements” from time to time, but no damage…just a nip here or there that’s quickly forgotten. We are both good except that the dementia personality decided to yell at Ducky a few minutes ago for no good reason. Thankfully, she’s quick to forgive.

I love it! It looks like Bogie is learning to play on Ducky’s level, so it’s easier for her! He also seems to be working on his “sucking up” skills, hoping a few kisses to your leg will get him some breakfast! LOL

Oh, he knows just how to wrap his mama around his little paw! These two make me laugh – Ducky says “get off MY couch! It’s MINE and you can’t be on it!” and Bogie says “it’s my couch, too! Mommy said so!” and the games begin. 🤣🤣

It’s great they are becoming friends. Sometimes it takes a while, one just has to be patient.

Patience is something I struggle with at times; but watching these two becoming friends (as well as siblings), is worth every bit of the struggle.
